Other than insanity? I hadn't been to any news sites and we don't have cable right now, so I just heard about what happened in Connecticut. The news was enough to bring tears to my eyes. I can only imagine the horror the families of the victims are going through. I can only pray for you folks up there. God help you. I'm not going to feature anyone for this December.

Halloween is typically the time of scary stories for most. But for me, feeling the cold setting in and seeing the bare trees against the gloomy sky, November is the month of ghost stories and hauntings. Perhaps it's because it all seems so sad;  here it's cold and it tends to rain in November, the colorful leaves are gone and winter is almost here. Ghosts are sad like that too, just a mist with a dream of what they once were. Regardless, the two are inextricably linked in my mind.
