There comes a whisper on the wind, foretelling of the coming change. The light reveals the beauty fading as the leaves fall slowly by.
While somber clouds dim the scene like a final curtain being drawn. The first gentle raindrops fall like mourners tears at the end.
On the air there comes a chill, the promise of winters long kiss. A saddened hush falls over nature as autumn softly passes.
This wonderful, moving poem was kindly written for this photo by . Thank you, Chris!
Shot at the public park in Campbellsville, Kentucky. It was the last good day to get out and photograph the autumn scenery. The day afterward the rain and the wind came to strip the remaining leaves from the trees.
I think it's the vibrance of the sky that caught my attention at first. It really opens up the rest of the scenery to me. All of the colours remind me of why I love Fall. This was a perfect location to take photos.
You are very welcome. I would be happy to do this for you anytime you want. I love the picture it has such a mood to it that the poem wrote itself. You have such a wonderful eye for scenes like this and I am honored to help put it into words. Even if I don't have much talent at it I hope it still confers the emotion of the scene.
Thank you very much! I would love to have you write for the photos I put up any time you wish. I can always edit a deviation to add any writing you care to. I'd love that!
